About Me
Calm planning, yarny gifts, made by a maker.
I’m Jo, and I’ve lived in Calderdale all my life, right in the heart of Yorkshire’s wool and textile heritage.
Yarn and making things with my hands have always been part of who I am. I learned to knit and crochet from my grandmothers — skills passed down through quiet afternoons. Those early lessons stayed with me, and over the years my love of fibre has grown.
In recent years I’ve learned to spin my own yarn, dye colour, and weave, deepening my connection to every stage of the craft — from sheep’s fleece to finished cloth.
Hebble Creations grew out of all of that: a lifelong love of yarn, respect for tradition, and a playful curiosity about how making things can bring calm, joy, and purpose to ordinary days.
Here you’ll find:
- T-shirts with dry humour that speaks to knitters and crocheters
- Eco-friendly tote bags perfect for project bags and yarn shopping
- Mugs and accessories made for long crafting sessions
- Printables to help organise projects, stash and ideas
Everything here is designed with real makers in mind — practical, warm, and made to fit into everyday crafting life.
This photo is a skein of my own handspun yarn, a reminder of where this all started and why it matters.
Thanks for being here — and if yarn is your happy place too, you’re very much in the right shop
